Maternal RSV Vaccine (Abrysvo): Available for purchase with a prescription from your healthcare provider. Cost may be covered by some private insurance plans.

Infant Monoclonal Antibody (Beyfortus): As of April 1, 2026, offered free of charge, all infants are eligible to receive one dose of an RSV antibody product during their first RSV season (October 1 to March 31). Infants born from October to March will continue to be offered a dose of an RSV antibody product shortly after birth. Infants born from April to September will be offered their dose in the fall to give them optimal protection during their first RSV season. In addition, children with certain high-risk conditions entering their second season may also be eligible in consultation with the Manitoba High-Risk RSV Immunoprophylaxis Program.

For more information, talk to your healthcare provider or visit the Manitoba RSV Prevention Program and available resources.

Advocacy: Healthcare providers in Alberta are invited to use the letter-writing toolkit from Praxus Health to help inform discussions on access to funding for RSV protection.
